Treasure Island Public Beach St Petersburg Florida : WifeBlah VS Waves (Video Inside)

Sorry I was away for awhile. I was working straight 3 nights in a row. In fact I am very sleepy and drowsy as of this very moment while writing my blog post. I feel bad missing all your posts, but I promise I will check out your blogs one by one and see what I missed. For the meantime, I will be sharing our short getaway to Treasure Island in St.Petersburg Florida.

What I love about St.Petersburg Beaches is they are not as congested as Siesta keys, but not too remote like Anna Maria Island. I heard Anna Maria Island is also very lovely and quiet, but I am having a hard time looking for a good place to stay.

The place is very quiet with few people walking around, and the sand is fine and soft. The color of the sand is more of a grayish white. There are not much shells under the water so you don’t have to worry walking barefoot. The water is sooo clean and we enjoyed swimming in the beach. However, the waves are very strong. If you are taking your kids with you, you have to watch them closely. 🙂

We drove 4 hours to reach Treasure Island. From our accommodation you only need to drive 1 more hour to get to Clearwater Beach. Maybe next time we will drive further north to spend a night or two in Clearwater Beach, I just read in an article that Clearwater Beach is one of the Top 10 Beaches in America from the Travel Channel. But anyway, St Petersburg Beaches and Clearwater Beach share the same emerald water from the Gulf of Mexico.

I am contemplating where to go next: Clearwater beach or Siesta Key? What do you think?

      Thank you Huguette, I made it alive. I feel really good waking up today. You will appreciate a good sleep when you dont have one while working for a couple of days 🙂 i will do reading your blogs these off days I have while running some errands. I have mountain of clothes to laundry, bedsheets, and i have issues with my fish tanks 🙂 thank you so much!! 😉 excited to check out your blog soon.

      I’m doing fish tank care videos, but not much on travel videos, because I don’t travel much because of work. But will share here once I produce some 🙂 YES you have to go to the beach soon!!

        Right now I live in the country with about 5 acers and I do love all the nature that comes up to see me and being able to have all the privacy but I still think about so many other things that I’m missing.

        Naw it’s not bad at all really. I know I tell a lot about myself but after doing Photography for 20 years everyone knew me and had all contact information so it doesn’t bother me to give stuff out like I have.

        Well if this is another job I truly enjoy it! 😁 but maybe it’s more of responsibility, someone took the time to read my blog and make a comment so I feel a need to let them know I appreciate it. And I put some time into most of my Blogs but do admit that sometimes I mix things up like a blog about a song or movie which usually don’t take much time.

I would like to visit Siesta Key too, I hope they are as good as St.Petersburg. I wan’t to go more North like Destin, but it’s really a long drive from our house.
